Hey y'all, I'm Lynsy.
What was initially intended to be a hobby very quickly became a full blown passion ignited by my passage into motherhood. Now as a wife and mother, it's become painfully apparent how quickly a season, a moment, can pass, helping me realize that the irreplaceable beauty of tangible photographs mean literally everything.
That's why I've built a system to ensure your memories become more than just a gallery link. Together, we will preserve the subtle, emotive moments that reveal story and stir emotion you'll crave fifty years from now.

I've always been drawn to intimate details that dwell within the layers of life. This eye for detail is what turns everyday moments into your memories.
My approach is simple, I observe you and your people, anticipating all the in-betweens to come. My focus remains on presence; the sharp inhale you take before walking down the aisle. The way your baby sinks into your hip while supper is stirred on the stove. The tears welling in your dad's eyes during the father-daughter dance. Those are the moments I'm looking for.
An intentional approach
I remember spending hours scouring tattered family photo albums, meeting people of my families' past while simultaneously adding to our future. The grainy smiles hidden between inviting shadows and over-exposed sunlight, the deep green hues that framed our blue-hour memories. Each and every one of them shaped the love I have for photography today.
As a full-service wedding & lifestyle photographer serving Boone and the surrounding mountain areas, I am fortunate enough to serve you throughout the entire photography process. Basically, you're never left to your own devices.

The way your mother in law looks at her son while everyone else looks at you when you walk down the aisle. The way your dad's hand cradles the back of your head as he kisses your forehead during the father-daughter dance. Moments that you forget even happened but feel deeply when you look back--- those are the details that string your story together.

When i'm not working
My husband and I live in a quaint little town in the suburbs outside of Boone, NC with our 3 year old son and 2 dogs, Max and Mia. My full time job is teaching 7th grade language arts while running my photography business on the side. My hope is to one day make it a full time dream come true.
We are BIG outdoor people-- hiking, camping, fishing; you name it, we've probably got plans to do it within the next 24 hours. Thankfully, our son LOVES being outside, so there's not much we aren't up for doing or trying.
When I'm not making my own family memories or documenting yours, you can find me locked in on a good Kristin Hannah or Freida McFadden while simultaneously binge watching Schitt's Creek or New Girl for the 654th time. Coffee may as well run through a continuous IV in my arm, and I'm not opposed to Trolli Sour Brite gummy worms (berry pack) as a mid morning snack.
